June is Bicycle Month in Toronto, and there will be many cyclists using Toronto’s roads, paths, and trails.
Starting on Monday, June 11, 2018, and ending on Sunday, June 17, 2018, the Toronto Police Service will be launching the S.P.A.C.E. to Cycle campaign (Safety, Prevention, Awareness, Courtesy, Education).
The Toronto Police Service will focus its efforts on offences which contribute to killed or seriously injured (KSI) collisions. These include distracted driving, aggressive driving behaviour, and offences which put cyclists at risk.
Parking Enforcement Officers will focus on parking-related offences which put cyclists at risk.
