Animal Cruelty investigation,
Clayson Road and Bartor Road

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance with an Animal Cruelty investigation.

On Monday, June 11, 2018, at 6:20 a.m., approximately 14 dead geese were located on Clayson Road, an industrial area just north of Bartor Road and the 400 highway.

It is reported that:

- the injuries to the birds included decapitation, tearing of the wings, tearing of the legs and snapped necks

- the injuries did not appear to be consistent with another animal attack as the carcasses were intact.

Toronto Police Service and the Canadian Wildlife Enforcement Directorate are conducting a joint investigation to identify and arrest the person(s) responsible.
