Fatal collision #32/2018,
Bloor Street West at St. George Street

On Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 12:04 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Bloor Street West at St. George Street.

It is reported that:

- a man, 66, driving a Sterling truck, was approaching the intersection of Bloor Street West and St. George Street

- a woman, 58, was riding a bicycle on the road approaching the intersection of Bloor Street West and St. George Street

- the cyclist was struck by the truck

The 58-year-old woman received life-threatening injuries and succumbed to those injuries at the scene.

Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
