On Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 7 p.m., at the Etobicoke Civic Centre, Deputy Chief Peter Yuen will host a community conversation on the Neighbourhood Officer Program. Called Build The Block T.O., the Toronto Police Service is asking the public to share its thoughts on neighbourhood policing.

After a presentation by Deputy Yuen, members of the community will know why their neighbourhood was chosen for this program and what they can expect in the coming months.

Attendees will then be asked key questions that will help inform how the officers are selected, what training they should have and how best they can serve the public going forward as the Toronto Police Service looks to create an enhanced Neighbourhood Officer program.

The conversation will also be available on social media. You can watch live, by clicking here or follow #BuildTheBlockTO on Twitter.

This is the second of six community conversations. The next four will take place on:

June 19, Warden Hilltop Community Centre
June 20, Kennedy Park Neighbourhood
June 25, 4020 Dundas Street West
June 26, Chester Le Community Centre
