Man wanted in Assault investigation,
Steeles Avenue West and Alness Street area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in an Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, June 11, 2018, at approximately 9 a.m., two men were inside a store near the intersection of Steeles Avenue West and Alness Street

- while inside the store’s washroom, one man assaulted another man by punching him in the face

- as a result of the assault, an 89-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries

The man, allegedly responsible for the assault, is described as being in his early thirties, 5’8”, 170 lbs, wearing a reflective vest.

His photograph has been released.
