The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance identifying a man wanted in an Aggravated Assault/stabbing investigation.
On Friday, June 29, 2018, at 3:28 p.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing on the concourse level of a commercial building at 2210 Yonge Street.
It is reported that:
- an unknown male suspect engaged in an unprovoked verbal argument with the male victim
- as the argument escalated, the male suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim three times
- the victim and the suspect are unknown to each other, and the incident occurred in a very brief exchange between the two
The suspect is described as 5', medium build, short black hair, black moustache, black chin hair. He was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, black jeans, black high-top shoes, carrying a black side-satchel gym bag.
He is believed to be violent, armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
