Police seek assistance with shooting investigation,
Portland Street and King Street West area

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 2:40 a.m., in the Portland Street and King Street West area, there was a dispute between a group of up to six men

- during this dispute, a male suspect discharged a firearm nine times, striking the victim once in the hip

- the suspect then fled the area by unknown means

- there is no description of the outstanding male suspect at this time

He is believed to be violent, armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
