On Monday, August 27, 2018, the Toronto Police Service requested assistance identifying a vehicle and its driver in a Fail-to-Remain collision investigation.

It was alleged that:

- some time before 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018, an 82-year-old man was struck and killed in the underground garage at 50 Graydon Hall Drive.

- the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene

On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Paul Veenhof, 54, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Leave accident scene resulting bodily harm or death

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, 10 a.m., room 306.

It is alleged that:

- officers seized the vehicle in question
