Queen Street West and Tecumseth Street area,
Man, 62, arrested,
Faces 28 charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 4 a.m., a 32-year-old woman was picked up by a taxi driver in the Queen Street West and Tecumseth Street area

- she was sexually assaulted by the taxi driver

- the taxi driver then took her credit card and used it at multiple locations to make purchases

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Golam Mustafa, 62, of Toronto, surrendered to investigators, was arrested, and charged with:

1) Sexual Assault
2) nine counts of Fraud Under
3) nine counts of Use Stolen Credit Card
4) nine counts of Possession Stolen Property

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, August 30, 2018, 10 a.m.
