Police seek assistance identifying man in
Extortion investigation,
Spadina Avenue and D'Arcy Street area,
Security camera video and images of man released

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance locating and identifying a man wanted in an Extortion Investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, June 18, 2018, at approximately 11 p.m., a man smashed the window of a business in the Spadina Avenue and D'Arcy Street area

- the man tossed a note inside the business, demanding money with threats to the business if money not received within 24 hours

- this was the third note left at the business within a two-week period

Security camera video has been released.

Investigators are urging any other businesses, that have been targets of extortion in Chinatown that have not reported the incident, to contact police.
