Personal injury collision #39/2018,
Queen Street East, east of Grant Street

On Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 11:20 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Queen Street East, east of Grant Street.

It is reported that:

- a man, 34, was driving a streetcar eastbound on Queen Street East, east of Grant Street

- a woman, 40, was attempting to cross Queen Street East, east of Grant Street

- the woman was struck by the streetcar

The 40-year-old woman received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash-camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
