Faces 13 charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Shooting investigation.

On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 11:45 a.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the Midland Avenue and Wolfe Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- a suspect approached an 18-year-old man in the area

- an argument ensued and the suspect shot the man

On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, Jatorri Williams, 18, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1. Uttering Threats
2. Carry Concealed Weapon
3. Attempt Murder
4. Discharge Firearm Into a Place/Reckless to Others
5. Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm
6. Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Without Holding a License
7. Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime
8. Fail To Comply With Prohibition Order
9. Four counts of Fail To Comply With Probation Order
10. Fail To Comply With Recognizance

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 10 a.m.
