55 Division wants to make the public aware of numerous acts of vandalism in Leslieville.
Since Sunday, July 1, 2018, 60 reports of damage to vehicles have been reported to police. In most of these reports, tires have been cut or punctured. These incidents have occurred in the evening to early morning. Many of these incidents, but not all, have occurred on Wednesday night to Thursday mornings.
The offence locations are within the Leslieville area, from Gerrard Street East to Eastern Avenue and from Boulton Avenue to Marjory Avenue.
Police are asking residents to be aware and vigilant and to report suspicious activity in their neighbourhood. Further, residents are asked to check for damage before driving their vehicle.
Police are also requesting that any surveillance cameras be reviewed and forwarded to police if owners notice any footage that may assist investigators with identifying anyone responsible for these crimes.

He is described as 25-30, 5'10", 190 lbs., and was last seen wearing dark pants, dark sweater, and olive-coloured baseball cap.
