On Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 7 a.m., police responded to a report of a cyclist struck in the Dundas Street East and Logan Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- a 23 year-old woman was cycling on Dundas Street East in a marked bike lane
- a 29 year-old man was operating a Jeep eastbound on Dundas Street East
- the cyclist was struck by the Jeep, the driver remained on scene
- the cyclist was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries
Traffic Services is investigating and are seeking the assistance of local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash-camera footage of the area or incident to contact investigators.
