The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance with an Assault investigation.

On Monday, October 8, 2018, at approximately 11:35 a.m., officers responded to a call in the Yonge Street and Dundas Street West area.

It is reported that:

- a man confronted two women

- he then turned towards another man, punched him, and slashed his hand with a knife

The man is described as being in his 30's, approximately 5'8", thin to medium build, with a short afro, unshaven, wearing black pants, and a black and red shirt under a black jacket.

Security camera images have been released.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact police.
