The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a sexual assault.

On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Eglinton Avenue East and Brimley Road area.

It is reported that:

- a 15-year-old girl was on a TTC bus

- a man got on the bus and stood beside her

- he sexually assaulted her

- she pushed him away but the man continued to sexually assault her

- she screamed and he fled

He is described as 30-40, 5'6", with a heavy build, black short wavy hair, and clean shaven. He was wearing a dark blue jacket.

A security camera image of the man is being released.
