On Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 6 p.m., at the Beanfield Centre at Exhibition Place, Chief Mark Saunders will host the Chief’s Gala in support of Victim Services Toronto. Ben Mulroney will be the Master of Ceremonies. This event is sold out and will have over 1,250 guests.

Proceeds from this event support an organization that is highly valued,
respected and essential, Victim Services Toronto. This evening is an important community event and a celebration of a unique partnership between the Toronto Police Service and Victim Services Toronto. Victim Services Toronto restores, rebuilds and enhances the quality of life for those affected by serious crime and sudden tragedies. They are the only agency in Toronto providing immediate on-site support. They offer invaluable programs and services, helping close to 20,000 victims annually, including those impacted by the recent incidents on Yonge Street and Danforth Avenue.

The Chief’s Gala is a high-profile event that takes place every November. Attendance includes police chiefs and senior police leaders from across the province, members from all levels of government, and members from the business community. In 2017, over $400,000 was raised at the Chief’s Gala.
