On Tuesday, November 13, 2018, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Toronto Cooper Koo Family Cherry Street YMCA, located at 461 Cherry Street, members of the Toronto Police Service, led by Superintendent Scott Baptist, will be joined by community members and stakeholders for the first Town Hall Meeting hosted by the Service’s Disabilities Community Consultative Committee.
The event will be an opportunity for members of the community to help inform better policing services for those living with disabilities.
This committee, created in November 2016, is one of nine Community Consultative Committees that are coordinated by the Toronto Police Service in an effort to address concerns, develop mutually-beneficial solutions, and create relationships between members of the Service and the city’s diverse communities.
The Town Hall Meeting is open to the media and will be live-streamed.
