Police request assistance with shooting investigation,

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance with a shooting investigation.

On Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 4:18 a.m., officers responded to a call for the sound of gunshots in the Bathurst Street and Bloor Street West area.

It is reported that:

- an altercation occurred between two groups of people

- during the fight a firearm was discharged

- a man was struck by a bullet

- he made his way to hospital and was treated

His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
