Assault and Sexual Assault Investigation,
St. Michael's College School,
Six boys arrested, facing a total of 18 charges

On Monday, November 19, 2018, Deputy Chief James Ramer and Inspector Domenic Sinopoli, Unit Commander of Sex Crimes, held a news conference on the investigation into allegations of assault and sexual assault at St. Michael's College School.

Since Wednesday, November 14, 2018, officers from 13 Division and the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre have been actively investigating two allegations of assault and two allegations of sexual assault involving students at St. Michael’s College School.

It is alleged that:

- a boy was sexually assaulted with an object

On Monday, November 19, 2018, six boys were arrested and have each been charged with:

1. Assault
2. Gang Sexual Assault
3. Sexual Assault with a Weapon

They are scheduled to appear in court at 311 Jarvis Street on Monday, November 19, 2018.

The other investigations are ongoing.
