Fail to Remain Personal Injury Collision,
Esquire Road and Victoria Park Avenue

On Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 8:20 a.m., police responded to a call for a Personal Injury Collision at Esquire Road and Victoria Park Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a 80-year-old man was walking north, on the east side of Victoria Park Avenue at Esquire Road
- he was crossing Esquire Road from the south to the north side, at the intersection
- the suspect vehicle was believed to be eastbound on Esquire Road from Victoria Park Avenue, when it struck the pedestrian
- the driver of this vehicle fled the scene
The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries. He died in hospital on Saturday, November 10, 2018.
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Investigators were able to obtain images of a vehicle of interest which was in the area at the time of the collision. These photos have been released.
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash-camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
