Etobicoke Lake Shore Santa Claus Parade,

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 10 a.m., the Etobicoke Lake Shore Santa Claus Parade will take place.

Road closures will occur for part of the day.

The following road closures will start at 8 a.m. and go until 11 a.m.:

- Dwight Avenue, from Lake Shore Boulevard West to Birmingham Street
- Birmingham Street, from Dwight Avenue to Islington Avenue
- Second Street, from Birmingham Street to Maple Boulevard.

The parade route road closures will start at 9:45 a.m., and go until 12 p.m.:

- Lake Shore Boulevard West, from Royal York Road to Thirty Seventh Street

The parade starts at 10 a.m., and runs along Lake Shore Boulevard West between Dwight Street and Thirty Seventh Street. The parade will end near Thirty Seventh Street at approximately 12 p.m.

Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation. TTC Service will be adjusted, visit for more information.

A note to local residents along the parade route:

Accessibility to the neighbourhoods south of Lake Shore Boulevard will be available throughout the entire parade. Individuals who live or wish to visit residences on First Street to Thirteenth Street, will have access via First Street (along Morrison Street). Those who live or wish to visit Twenty Third Street and west of this, can access Lake Shore Boulevard via Thirty Sixth Street (along Lake Promenade).
