Sexual Assault Alert,
Cumberland Street and Bellair Street area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault investigation in the Cumberland Street and Bellair Street area.
It is reported that:
-on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at approximately 1:20 a.m., a 29-year-old woman was walking along Cumberland Street
- a man approached her and attempted to assault her
- she tried to get away from him and he followed her
- he approached her again and sexually assaulted her
- she screamed and he fled the area
He is described as white, with a pale complexion, early to mid 20's, 5’10”, with a skinny build, short light brown hair with a receding hairline, a patchy beard with approximately two weeks worth of growth, lighter-coloured eyes, with a full mouth and crowded teeth.
He was wearing a zippered hoody, with the hood up, medium grey to dark tone baggy black pants, and flat-bottomed skateboard-style shoes.
Investigators released security camera video which can be viewed on YouTube as well as photographs in hopes someone can identify him.
