The month of January is recognized by Crime Stoppers International as Crime Stoppers Month around the world.

On Thursday, January 3, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., in the lobby at Toronto Police Headquarters, Toronto Crime Stoppers will host an event celebrating Crime Stoppers Month and their 35th Anniversary. Along with highlighting statistics from 2018, various public awareness campaigns from the past year will also be profiled and exciting new partnerships will be announced in their effort to mobilize the community in reporting crime anonymously.

Toronto Crime Stoppers Chair Sean Sportun will host the event with remarks by Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders and Dave Forster, President of Canadian Crime Stoppers.

For further information, please contact Crime Stoppers Toronto Coordinator Detective Dimitri Tsianos at 416-808-7260 or Chair Sean Sportun 416-904-3805.

Please note that, for the safety of employees and visitors, all persons entering Toronto Police Service headquarters must go through security screening. You are not required to submit to screening. You may leave at any time but, if you do not consent to this screening, you will be denied entry. Thank you for your cooperation.
