The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a woman involved in an identity theft investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, December 21, 2018, a woman attended a bank branch located at Pape Avenue and Cosburn Avenue

- the woman opened a bank account using a fraudulent driver’s license

- on the same day, the woman attended another bank branch located at Pape Avenue and Cosburn Avenue

- the woman opened a bank account using a fraudulent driver’s license

- on Saturday, December 22, 2018, a woman attended a Money Mart branch located at Finch Avenue West and Alness Street

- the woman obtained a loan totalling $5,736.00 using a fraudulent driver’s license

- on Thursday, December 27, 2018, a woman attended the same Money Mart branch

- she attempted to obtain a $20,000 loan using fraudulent information

- on Friday, December 28, 2018, the woman opened an account with Rogers Communication using fraudulent information

- the woman purchased a cell phone package

- on Saturday, December 29, 2018, the woman attended a Cash Money branch located at Steeles Avenue East and Kennedy Road, in Brampton

- the woman applied for two loans totalling $1,345 using fraudulent information


Police have released a security camera image of the woman.
