The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a fraud investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a man operating under the alias of "Ignacio Onassis" offered behavioural counselling sessions

- the man advertised that he had specific qualifications and certifications, which were fraudulent

On Monday, August 21, 2018, Ignacio Simmons, 48, of Toronto was charged with:

1. Fraud Under $5000
2. False Pretence

He is scheduled to appear in court, at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Friday, February 22, 2019.

As a result of further investigation, police now believe there may be other victims.
