The Toronto Police Service will be celebrating Black History Month on Monday, February 25, 2019, at 6 p.m., at the Jamaican Canadian Association, located at 995 Arrow Road.
The theme of this year's Black History Month is “The Future is Now”.
The Service, in partnership with the Etobicoke School of the Arts, community members and organizations will be recognizing the leadership of several black youth who have made an impact on their city. The event will also showcase the art performances of several students.
Immediately following the event there will be an informal reception with refreshments.
