The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a theft investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Monday, November 26, 2018, and on Friday, December 7, 2018, a man was seen in a 4-door Toyota Yaris in the Schell Avenue and Ronald Avenue

- the man exited the vehicle, walked up to an address in the area, and took a package previously delivered from the front porch of the residence

- he then fled in the same vehicle

It is further alleged that:

- on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 2:01 p.m., a man was seen in a 4-door Toyota Yaris in the Maplewood Avenue and Wychwood Avenue area

- the man exited the vehicle with a large brown box, dropped it off on a front porch, and proceeded to pick up a smaller white package previously delivered to the same address

- he then fled in the same vehicle

On Saturday, March 2, 2019, Nickolas Dimitropoulos, 48, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Three counts of Theft

He was scheduled to appear in court, at Old City Hall, on March 3, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 101.
