Man charged in Undercover Child Exploitation Investigation,

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, as part of an online undercover child exploitation investigation, members of the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Hwy 401 and Wilson Road South area of Oshawa.

It is alleged that:

- a man chatted online and counseled someone to commit sexual offences on a child

- the man sent child pornographic images

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, Joshaua Paddon, 26, of Oshawa, was arrested. He has been charged with:

1. Make Child Pornography
2. Make available Child Pornography
3. Possess Child Pornography
4. Access Child Pornography
5. two counts of Counsel to commit an indictable offence which was not committed

He is to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 2 p.m., in courtroom 412.
