Charges laid in Sell Liquor to person under 19 investigation,
Hung-Wai David Wong, 60

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Liquor investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a man was operating a local convenience store called "Winners Lotto Mart" located at 299 Ossington Avenue, and selling alcohol to minors

- a youth would call the man at the store and place an order for a quantity of alcohol

- the man then attended a local LCBO store and purchased the requested alcohol and then sell it to the youth at profit

On Monday, March 11, 2019, the man was located and charged by 14 Division Major Crime officers. Hung-Wai David Wong, 60, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Supply/Sell liquor to person apparently under 19
2. Sell liquor-no license

He is to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 9 a.m.
