The Toronto Police Hold Up unit is seeking the public's assistance in a bank robbery investigation.

On Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 4 p.m., a man walked into a bank branch in the Rexdale Boulevard and Highway 27 area.

It is alleged :

- the man waited in line and then approached a teller

- the man made a verbal demand for money and, while keeping his hands in his hooded sweatshirt stated he had a weapon

- the teller handed over a quantity of money

- the man fled the branch towards the parking lot

He has been described as 25 to 30 years-old, 5'10" to 6'0", 180 lbs., with a goatee. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a black hood and strip down the sleeves, dark grey pants and black shoes with white soles.
