Two men arrested,
One woman wanted in a series of break and enter investigations,

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of arrests made in a series of Break and Enter investigations and seeks the public's assistance locating a woman still wanted.

Between April 3 and April 9, 2019, officers began investigations into over 10 break and enters targeting long-term care facilities.

It is alleged that:

- suspects would enter the buildings in the early morning hours

- they would walk the floors looking for unlocked doors to units

- personal belongings were stolen from residents as they slept

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, Jason Hobbs, 36, of Toronto was arrested. He is charged with:

1. three counts of Break and Enter - Commit Theft
2. Break and Enter - with Intent
3. three counts of Fraud Under $5,000
4. four counts of Possess Credit Card Obtained by Crime
5. Theft Under $5,000

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 101.

On Sunday, April 21, 2019, Mark Hardy, 52, of Toronto was arrested. He is charged with:

1. eight counts of Break and Enter
2. three counts of Break and Enter with Intent
3. Possession of Break-in Instruments
4. two counts of Possession of Credit Card Obtained by Crime
5. four counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
6. four counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
7. 17 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Monday, April 22, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 101.

Kayla Lavallee, 31, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1. four counts of Use Stolen Credit Card
2. four counts of Fraud Under $5000
3. two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation

She is described as 5'2", 110 lbs., brown hair, and blue eyes.

Police believe there may be other victims.
