The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a tip jar theft investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on May 5th 2019, a man, wearing Joker face paint, entered a restaurant in Kensington Market, and stole a tip jar which was near the cash register.

On Sunday May 12, 2019, Timothy Lubin, 29, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Theft

He is schceduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
