The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault.

It has been reported that:

- on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at approximately 11:45 p.m., a woman was inside a bus stop shelter in the Weston Road and Walsh Avenue area

- a man approached the woman in the bus shelter and sexually assaulted her

- the woman pushed the man away and he struck her face

- the man fled the area, possibly boarding a TTC bus

The woman sustained minor physical injuries to her face and hand.

The suspect is described as:

Male, between 35-40 years old, approximately 5’7”, unshaven, short black receding hair, a round face with gapped, crooked teeth. He was wearing a black jacket and dark jeans.

Investigators requests the public's assistance locating and identifying the male suspect described.
