On Monday, May 13, 2019, Brian Ross, 36, was arrested by officers from the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre on an additional sexual assault charge.

It is alleged that:

Between September 2011 and June 2012, the accused sexually assaulted a 16-year-old female student at Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School.

Brian Ross, 36, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Sexual Assault
2. Sexual Exploitation

Brian Ross is a teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board and has taught at two different secondary schools and was involved in coaching athletics.

- September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2016 at Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School, located at 1107 Avenue Road

- September 1, 2016 to February 18, 2019 at Senator O’Connor College School, located at 60 Rowena Drive

He is scheduled to attend court on Friday, May 24, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at 1911 Eglinton Ave East.

On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, members of Sex Crimes – Child & Youth Advocacy Centre arrested a man in connection with an investigation into the sexual assault of a young person.

It is alleged that:

- in March 2017, a 15-year-old girl met a man and he drove her to his residence to visit and discuss school issues

- during the visit, the man sexually assaulted the girl

Brian Ross, 36, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Sexual Assault
2. Sexual Interference

Brian Ross is a teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board and has taught at two different secondary schools and was involved in coaching athletics.

- September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2016 at Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School, located at 1107 Avenue Road

- September 1, 2016 to February 18, 2019 at Senator O’Connor College School, located at 60 Rowena Drive

He attended court on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 2 p.m., at 1911 Eglinton Ave, Room 407.
