Police seek assistance with shooting investigation,
Spadina Avenue and Queen Street West,

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying the drivers and vehicles involved in a shooting investigation from Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at approximately
3 a.m. in the Spadina Avenue and Queen Street West area.
It is reported that:

- a white vehicle and a red vehicle were seen following each other in the Spadina Avenue and Queen Street West

- an interaction took place at the intersection and the driver of the red vehicle opened fire on the white vehicle, striking the passenger

- a 33-year-old man received a gunshot wound to the hip, he was taken to a hospital and then transported to another

- approximately 12-15 shots were fired and the white vehicle is believed to have several bullet holes

Investigators believe that the white vehicle is a Chevrolet Malibu and request the public’s assistance in identifying the drivers of both vehicles, as well as information on the vehicles involved.
