On Thursday, June 20, 2019, the annual Scotiabank & United Way Toronto Rat Race 5-km fun run will take place.

Participants will assemble at Nathan Philips Square beginning at 6 p.m. The run will begin at 7:30 p.m., and follow the route below, with lane closures in effect from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.:

Formation Area: Nathan Philips Square.

Start / Finish Line: University Avenue south of Armoury Street
- Northbound University Avenue, curb and adjacent lane, to College Street
- Northbound Queen’s Park, curb and adjacent lane, to Wellesley Street
- Northbound Queen’s Park Crescent East, curb lane, to St Joseph Street
- Eastbound St Joseph Street 50m, to U-turn
- Westbound St. Joseph Street 50m to Queens Park Crescent East
- Northbound Queen’s Park Crescent East, curb lane, to Bloor Street
- Eastbound Bloor Street, curb lane, to Bay Street
- Southbound Bay Street, curb lane, to Queen Street West
- Westbound Queen Street West, curb lane, to University Avenue
- Northbound University Avenue, curb and adjacent lane, to south of Armoury Street

Dispersal Area: Nathan Philips Square at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Motorist can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation.

The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
