Fatal Collision #21/2019,
The Queensway at North Queen Street

On Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at approximately 12 p.m., police received a report of a collision at The Queensway at North Queen Street.
It is reported that:
- a 19-year-old female driver operating a 2002 Nissan motor vehicle, was travelling east on The Queensway and turned left onto North Queen Street.
- at that time, a 76-year-old man operating a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling west on The Queensway proceeding through the intersection.
- both vehicle collided in the intersection. The driver of the motorcycle suffered trauma and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
