Man Arrested in Attempt Murder Investigation,
2 Bruyeres Mews

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest made in a stabbing investigation.

On Friday, May 3, 2019, police responded to a stabbing that took place at 2 Bruyeres Mews.

It is alleged:

- a 13-year-old boy was stabbed outside a coffee shop

- the boy sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital

On Monday, June 17, 2019, Jemar Holmes, 26, of Toronto, surrendered to police. He is charged with:

1. Attempt Murder
2. Aggravated Assault
3. Assault with a Weapon
4. Sell Cannabis to a young person
5. Distribute Cannabis to a young person

He attended court at Old City Hall on Monday, June 17, 2019, at 10 a.m.
