57 Parkwoods Village Drive

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing at 57 Parkwoods Village Drive.

Officers arrived to find a man suffering from obvious trauma. Life-saving efforts were made but the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

This death appeared to be suspicious and officers commenced an investigation with the assistance of Homicide investigators.

A post-mortem examination was completed on Friday, June 28, 2019. The cause of death was determined to be stab wounds. This investigation was determined to be a homicide.

Johnson Reyes, 61, of Toronto, has been identified as the victim.

On Friday, June 28, 2019, Stewart Rintoul, 52, of Toronto, and Everett Rintoul, 50, of Toronto, were arrested. They have been charged with:

1. First Degree Murder

They will appear at Old City Hall on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 101.
