Fatal Vessel Collision Investigation

On Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:10 a.m., police received a report of a collision involving two vessels (jet ski water craft) in Lake Ontario near the Humber River and Martin Goodman Trail, in Toronto.
It is reported that:
- two men were riding jet ski style vessels in Lake Ontario near the Humber River and Martin Goodman Trail
- at that time a 32 year-old man, operating one of the vessels, collided with a 41 year-old man operating the other vessel
- the 41-year man succumbed to the injuries he sustained
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services and the Toronto Police Marine Unit. Anyone with video or pictures just prior to the collision are asked to contact investigators. Additionally, investigators are looking to connect with the people who were kayaking in the area when the collision occurred.
