The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a wanted man.

On Saturday, June 15, 2019, members of the Toronto Police Service commenced an investigation into a violent assault where a man attempted to choke a 31-year-old woman in the Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West area.

Police have identified the man as Akeem Martin, 30, of Toronto. A warrant for his arrest has been issued and he is wanted for:

1) Choking – overcome resistance
2) Assault
3) Threatening death
4) Mischief under $5,000
5) Breach of a Recognizance
6) Driving while under suspension

He is considered dangerous.
