Man, 33, arrested, facing Murder charges

The Toronto Police would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Homicide investigation.
On Saturday, June 29, 2019, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a call for the sound of gunshots at 55 Emmett Avenue.
Officers arrived to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was taken to hospital via emergency run. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased in hospital. The other man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

The Toronto Police Homicide unit took carriage of the investigation.
On Saturday July 27, 2019, during the morning hours, police executed a Criminal code search warrant at an address. A firearm and ammunition were alleged to have been located and seized.
Denzil Kemoy Williams, 33, of Toronto, was arrested.
He has been charged with:
1. Two counts of First Degree Murder
2. Attempt Murder
He is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Old City Hall, 10:00 a.m.
