Four Men Charged, Firearm Recovered

On Saturday, August 10, at approximately 7:10 a.m,
Toronto Police received a call to a short term rental property at 16 Burma Drive. about a number of intoxicated persons that were about to drive a vehicle.

Officers attended and located the vehicle. The investigation resulted in a loaded handgun being recovered by police and the following four men charged:

Pierre Barthold, 36, of Edmonton

- Possession Loaded Regulated Firearm
- Occupy Motor Vehicle With Firearm
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Without Holding License And Registration Certificate
- Unlicensed Person Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding A License and Registration Certificate
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Weapon or Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority
- Use/Handle/Store Firearm Carelessly
- Possession Weapon Dangerous To The Public Peace

Addul Abdulle, 23, of Edmonton

- Possession Loaded Regulated Firearm
- Occupy Motor Vehicle With Firearm
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Without Holding License And Registration Certificate
- Unlicensed Person Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding A License and Registration Certificate
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Weapon or Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority
- Use/Handle/Store Firearm Carelessly
- Possession Weapon Dangerous To The Public Peace

Abdi Hussein, 22, of Mississauga, Edmonton and Saskatchewan

- Fail To Comply Condition of Judicial Release x2
- Possession Firearm While Prohibited
- Possession Loaded Regulated Firearm
- Occupy Motor Vehicle With Firearm
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Without Holding License And Registration Certificate
- Unlicensed Person Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding A License and Registration Certificate
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Weapon or Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority
- Use/Handle/Store Firearm Carelessly
- Possession Weapon Dangerous To The Public Peace

Faisal Fareed, 22, of Ottawa

- Possession Firearm While Prohibited
- Possession Loaded Regulated Firearm
- Occupy Motor Vehicle With Firearm
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Without Holding License And Registration Certificate
- Unlicensed Person Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding A License and Registration Certificate
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Weapon or Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority
- Use/Handle/Store Firearm Carelessly
- Possession Weapon Dangerous To The Public Peace

They will appear in court at 2201 Finch Ave. W. court on Monday, August 12, at 10 a.m. in room 204.

The investigation is ongoing by the 22 Division Major Crime Unit.
