Police Request Assistance with Fraud Investigation,
Security Camera Images Released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a man involved in a fraud investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, August 12, 2019 between the hours of 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., a man entered a store located in the Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue area

- the man exchanged a fraudulently obtained gift certificate for a gift card

- the gift card was used and subsequently the business received a chargeback for the gift card

The man is described as approximately 20 to 25 years old with a thin build. He was wearing a black Kangol bucket hat, thin gold necklace, a black T-shirt, navy blue shorts, a black backpack with a white handle, Black Air Jordans with white soles, and a black bracelet on his right hand.
