Man charged in Child Sexual Abuse Material Investigation,
Sheppard Avenue East and Washburn Way area

On Wednesday, September 11 2019, members of the Toronto Police Service, Sex Crimes - Child Exploitation Section, executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Sheppard Avenue East and Washburn Way area.
As a result of the evidence gathered by police, Edwin Subia, 32, of Toronto, was arrested.
It is alleged that:
- the accused possessed, accessed and made available child sexual abuse material over the internet.
It is further alleged that:
- he had attempted to destroy evidence during the execution of the search warrant.
He has been charged with:
1) Possession of Child Pornography
2) Access Child Pornography
3) Make available Child Pornography
4) Obstruct peace officer
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Wednesday September 11, 2019, at 2 p.m.
