The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance identifying a man connected to a Voyeurism investigation.

A news release was published on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at 1:30 p.m.

It stated that on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 6:36 p.m., police responded to a business in the Yonge Street and King Street West area.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 6 p.m., a man entered the business and went into the public washroom

- once inside the washroom he affixed a black device which contained a camera and microphone that could be used to surreptitiously record people who were using the washroom

On Thursday, September 26, 2019, David Halasi, 40, surrendered to Police at 52 Division. He was arrested and charged with:

1) 15 counts of Voyeurism C.C. sec. 162(1)(a)

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, September 27, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 101.
