Officers are appealing to the public for assistance after two men were fatally shot in the west-end of Toronto. A teenage boy was wounded but survived his injuries.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at approximately 8:21 p.m., armed men began firing shots in the area of Venetian Crescent just south of the Jane and Finch Mall.
The men then fired a number of rounds at a teenage boy. He sustained multiple wounds before escaping.
A short time later, at 9:04 p.m., the same men with handguns fired a number of rounds at homes in the area 2010 Sheppard Avenue West . Police investigated and it was identified that no one was injured.
At 9:29 p.m, two men were in a courtyard situated at 306 Grandravine Drive, when the same men fired a number of rounds at them. The two men were critically injured.
Officers and paramedics attended and began life saving efforts on the two men. They were both taken to hospital and later succumbed to their injuries and pronounced deceased.
The two men have been identified as:
1. Delauntae Bryant, 24,
2. Eric Rowe, 20,
Investigators are appealing to the public for any dash-cam video, security video footage or information about the incidents and the gunmen.
