Police Seek Assistance with Stabbing Investigation,
Dundas Street West and Augusta Avenue,
Video of Man Released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with a stabbing investigation.

On Friday, September 13, 2019, at approximately 9:05 p.m., police were called to the area of Dundas Street West and Augusta Avenue for a stabbing.

It is reported that:

- a 54-year-old man got into a heated argument with a unknown man out front of a bar

- the unknown man stabbed the man

- the man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries

The unknown man is described as Asian, 38 to 45 years old, 5'7", medium build, clean shaven, and with short black hair. He was wearing black frame glasses, a white t-shirt with a red and white checkered unbuttoned shirt, and dark coloured pants.

Investigators have released video of an unknown man inside the bar who they want to identify.
