Police seek assistance locating two wanted men

On Sunday, October 13, 2019, at approximately 10:48 a.m., police received a report of a collision in the Ellesmere Road and Pharmacy Avenue area.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, police located and spoke with two people. The investigation continues.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Derek DeSousa, 34, of Toronto, he is wanted for:

1) Two counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm
2) Dangerous Operation
3) Fail to Stop/Render Assistance
4) Two counts of Fail to Stop Causing Bodily Harm
5) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
6) Driving While Under Suspension

A second man who is alleged to have abandoned the suspect vehicle - which has since been located - has been identified as Jeremiah Cook, 40, of Toronto. He is wanted for:

1) Obstruct Police
2) Fail to Comply with Probation Order
3) Fail to Stop / Render Assistance
4) Two counts of Fail to Stop Causing Bodily Harm
5) Driving While Under Suspension

Images of both men are attached. Investigators are asking for them to contact a lawyer and turn themselves in.
